A few weeks ago my friend Julia and I drove up to Joshua tree for a nice, relaxing girls weekend. We stayed in a charming cabin, called The Little Jo Cabin and awoke to the most incredible sunrises you’ve ever seen! We wanted to enjoy nature and do some fun, outdoor activities like…
HIKING

We did a few hikes and our favorites were the hike to Arch Rock (pictured above) , as well as The 49 Palms Oasis Hike.
HORSEBACK RIDING

We went on a sunset trail ride through the park at Knob Hill Ranch. It was so much fun!
PIONEERTOWN

We had to check out Pioneertown, which used to be an old Western movie set. Now it has cute little shops and a quaint Saloon called Pappy and Harriet’s where people often go to drink, dance, and sing karaoke at night!
OTHER THINGS TO DO/SEE/EAT…
– Pie for the People: PRO TIP, order online because the wait is crazy long. Amazing pizzas!
– Joshua Tree Coffee Company: Great local coffee shop and outdoor seating. Definitely get some caffeine in you on your way to the park!
– The Saturday Farmers Market: A ton of fresh produce and baked goods made by locals!
